Michelle Kip

Dr. Michelle Kip serves as an Assistant Professor within the Health Technology & Services Research section (BMS-TPS-HTSR) at the University of Twente's Faculty of Behavioural, Management and Social Sciences, where she is also affiliated with the TechMed Centre.

She earned her PhD (cum laude) from the University of Twente in April 2018, with doctoral research focused on "Early Health Technology Assessment of Point-of-Care and Laboratory Diagnostics".

Her research specializes in health economic evaluation methodologies for medical technologies across development phases, utilizing cost-effectiveness analysis and simulation modeling. She applies Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis to assess stakeholder preferences regarding new medical technologies and employs expert elicitation techniques. Her work bridges health economics, diagnostic technology assessment, and healthcare decision-making frameworks.
