Sabine Klein

Sabine Klein is an Assistant Professor of Practice and Collaborative Pianist at the University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music. She holds a BFA in Piano Performance from Carnegie Mellon University and advanced degrees (MFA and Zweite Diplomprüfung) in Chamber Music from the University Mozarteum Salzburg. Her research includes a thesis on color-hearing synesthesia.

Her professional roles include collaborative pianist for the Norwegian National Opera Oslo, repetiteur, orchestral member, and chamber musician. She has performed with the Stockton Symphony, Stockton Opera Guild, and Folsom Lake Symphony. Klein also taught at the Steiner School Nordstrand, Oslo, and currently teaches at Pacific.

Her work spans performance, education, and research in synesthesia. She actively collaborates with ensembles and maintains roles in orchestral and chamber music across Europe and the U.S.
