Luca De Marchi

Luca De Marchi is an Associate Professor and Pianist at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, specifically within the Academy of Opera department. He specializes in opera répétiteur work, vocal coaching, and piano performance, supporting students through singing lessons, master classes, and performance preparations. His career spans roles at renowned institutions including the Vienna State Opera, Salzburg Festival, and Beijing Opera.

Education:

• Conducting studies at the Mozarteum University Salzburg
• Master’s degree in piano performance and composition in Italy

Professional Experience: De Marchi has held positions as a repetiteur at the Prague State Opera, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, and Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi di Milano. He served as Head of Musical Studies at Opernhaus Dortmund and has collaborated with major opera houses and festivals globally. His teaching extends to master classes in Salzburg, Suzhou (China), Russia, and Italy.

Current Role: Since 2020, he has been integral to the Opera Academy’s curriculum, focusing on individual student guidance and performance support.
