Saad Obaid

Saad Obaid is an External Doctoral Researcher (Co-supervision) at the University of Hamburg Business School's CAIDAS Chair of NLP. His PhD is co-supervised by Prof. Goran Glavas and Prof. Anne Lauscher. Previously, he collaborated with political scientists from Leiden and Strathclyde University through the EUinAction project. He holds an MSc in Computer Science and Computational Linguistics from Charles University (2022), an MSc in Language Science and Technology from Saarland University (2022), and a BSc in Computer Science from NUST (2019).

His research focuses on Hallucinations and Biases in NLP systems and advancing Massively Multilingual Natural Language Processing. His work bridges computational linguistics with applications in political science through interdisciplinary collaborations.
