Salvatore Nistico is a Full Professor in the Department of Social and Economic Sciences at Sapienza University of Rome and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Sociology, and Communication since 2024. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (2004) and a BA with Summa cum Laude from LUISS Guido Carli (1998).

His research focuses on Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) Models for monetary and fiscal policy analysis, central banking, open-economy macroeconomics, and international finance. He has contributed to understanding unconventional monetary policies, asset bubbles, and exchange rate dynamics through advanced modeling.
