Ryan Vine

Ryan Vine is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English. An award-winning poet, his collection Distant Engines received the Weldon Kees Award. His poetry appears in The American Poetry Review and Ploughshares, and he contributes literary criticism to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

His teaching and creative work engage with narrative structures, poetic form, and the intersection of personal and cultural expression in modern literature.
