Ryan Reid

Ryan Reid is the IBEC Manager within the Faculty of Management at the University of New Brunswick. With over 20 years of experience in new venture creation, general management, and marketing, he has contributed to startup development across various sectors, including B2B software and veterinary healthcare. He currently teaches in the MBA program as an instructor, blending academic instruction with practical industry insights. Reid has also served as a mentor in the Energia Ventures Accelerator, supporting early-stage businesses.

His professional background includes leadership roles in startups and private equity transactions, alongside board memberships with the Harvest Music Festival and New Brunswick Public Library Service. Reid holds an MBA from the University of New Brunswick, a Bachelor of Commerce in entrepreneurial management from Royal Roads University, and a BA in history from Queen’s University.
