Ryan Randall serves as Senior Technician and Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Film and Media at Queen's University, concurrently acting as Technical Director of the Vulnerable Media Lab. An Associate of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers for 15 years, he actively produces commercials, documentaries, shorts, and media arts projects with international festival exposure.
His creative research centers on cinematographic techniques in documentary filmmaking, experimental media preservation, and vulnerable format restoration through the Vulnerable Media Lab. Randall's work bridges technical innovation with artistic storytelling, emphasizing physical media conservation in digital transition eras.
