Ryan Quarrington

Dr Ryan Quarrington is a Grant-Funded Researcher (B) at the University of Adelaide's Adelaide Medical School, within the Surgical Specialities department. His research focuses on biomechanical engineering and traumatic injury mechanisms, particularly in the brain and spine. He holds the 2022 Dr Dorothea Sandars Churchill Fellowship, enabling collaborative work with global experts in injury biomechanics. His projects include developing advanced sensors for trauma assessment, investigating e-scooter accident injuries, and evaluating jockey safety vests. He is actively involved in supervising students at various levels across Mechanical Engineering and Health Science disciplines.
