Kaspars Auslands

Kaspars Auslands is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Riga Stradiņš University (RSU). His research focuses on traumatic brain injury mechanisms, spinal disorders, and neurosurgical case studies. He actively contributes to multidisciplinary projects addressing neurosurgical challenges and public health issues related to urban mobility accidents.

He leads the project 'Results of utilizing different real-time visualization methods for the surgical treatment of recurrent glioblastoma' (2021-2025). His activities include organizing neurosurgery training courses and presenting at international conferences on neurotrauma management and lumbar microdiscectomy techniques.
