Andrejs Millers

Andrejs Millers is a Professor and Head of the Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Riga Stradins University (RSU). He holds expertise in clinical medicine, neurology, and neuroimaging, with a focus on multiple sclerosis, stroke mechanisms, and MRI volumetry applications. His research bridges clinical practice and advanced imaging techniques, particularly in tracking disease progression.

Education: Certified as an Expert in Clinical Medicine by the Latvian Council of Science (2015–2025, with consecutive renewals). His academic background emphasizes neurology and clinical research.

Research interests include cerebral apoplexy, brain ischemia, and the neuroimaging correlates of neurological disorders.
