Ryan Noe

Ryan Noe is an Artist Faculty member in Trumpet at the University of Southern Maine's Osher School of Music, joining in 2021. He holds adjunct roles as Professor of Trumpet at Northeastern University, Lecturer at University of Massachusetts Boston, and Adjunct Professor of Brass at Northern Essex Community College. He resides in Boston, Massachusetts.

• Education: DMA in Music (Boston University, 2015), MM (Boston University, 201?), BM in Trumpet Performance and Music Education (Western Michigan University).

His performance career spans orchestral, chamber, and solo roles. As a freelancer, he serves as Principal Trumpet for the Glens Falls Symphony and Third Trumpet for the Cape Ann Symphony. He collaborates with ensembles like the Andromeda Quintet and Fenway Quintet, performing with groups such as the Boston Pops and Portland Symphony. His work appears on soundtracks for Japanese crime dramas and albums like Resurrection with the Marsh Chapel Collegium.

He has performed under conductors including Lorin Maazel and Keith Lockhart, and soloed with multiple orchestras. His pedagogical focus includes trumpet instruction and music education across institutions.
