Brian Kuszyk serves as Performance Faculty in Classical Trumpet at Princeton University. He holds principal trumpet positions with Opera Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Ballet, Delaware Symphony, and Philadelphia Brass, while also performing as a member of the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and collaborating with the Philadelphia Orchestra.
His educational foundation was built at Temple University under distinguished mentors including Seymour Rosenfeld, William Vacchiano, Vincent Penzarella, and Frank Kadarabek. These studies established his technical mastery and artistic approach to classical brass performance.
Mr. Kuszyk specializes in classical trumpet repertoire across orchestral, operatic, and chamber music contexts. His performance career features collaborations with legendary conductors Simon Rattle, Wolfgang Sawallisch, and Lorin Maazel, alongside iconic artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, and Herbie Hancock. International tours with Philadelphia Brass have reached Bolivia, England, and Scotland, while his recording work includes productions for NFL Films.
