Ryan Murphy is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Chestnut Hill College. His research examines structural inequalities in the Catholic Church, focusing on gendered constraints and feminist agency among women religious. He teaches courses including Introduction to Sociology, Sociology of Health and Medicine, and Globalization Through a Gendered Lens.
