Russell Miller

Russell Miller is an Associate Professor of Jazz Studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. With a 30-year professional music career, he has performed alongside legendary artists such as Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy DeFranco, and Sammy Davis Jr., and contributed to recordings including Some of This, Some of That by the J.C. Heard Orchestra and Two For The Road by Jeannine Miller, featuring his arrangements for big band and jazz ensembles.
