Russ Beck

Russ Beck is a Principal Lecturer at Utah State University. He holds a BA from Brigham Young University (2003), an MS from Utah State University (2006), and an MFA from Goucher College (2010). His academic focus spans creative writing, environmental literature, memoir, audio essays, and podcasting.

Beck is a recipient of the Frederick Manfred Award for creative writing and actively contributes to platforms like howsmallatrout.wordpress.com and Braidedbrook.com. His essays have appeared in publications such as Eat Sleep Fish and The Huffington Post.

He is available to serve on graduate thesis committees related to audio essays, podcasts, environmental writing, and memoir.
