Rupinder Kaur

Rupinder Kaur is an Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies at Vassar College, joining the tenure-track faculty in 2023. She specializes in interdisciplinary research connecting French literature with broader medieval and Renaissance cultural frameworks.

• Educated at University College London (BA) and University of California-Berkeley (MA, PhD)
• Affiliated with the Departments of French and Francophone Studies and Medieval and Renaissance Studies

Her research interests span French literary traditions, Francophone global perspectives, and scholarly approaches to pre-modern European cultures. As a new faculty member, she contributes to Vassar's academic mission through teaching and research.
