Ruodi Duan is an Assistant Professor of History and East Asian Languages and Cultures at Haverford College. Her research focuses on the intersections of modern China, Black internationalism, and Cold War global politics.

- BA in Black Studies, Amherst College
Ruodi’s work examines Maoist conceptions of race and ethnicity through dialogues with African and African Diasporic political developments. She teaches courses on China-Africa relations, Asian diasporas, and histories of social protest in modern China.
