Ruchi Rangnath

Ruchi Rangnath is Associate Professor at the University of San Francisco, focusing on critical literacy, ethnic studies, and social justice in K-2 classrooms. Her work integrates anti-racist frameworks into early childhood education through culturally responsive pedagogy and community-centered curricula.

She authored Planting the Seed of Equity and Preparing to Teach Social Studies for Social Justice, emphasizing teacher development for transformative education. Rangnath co-founded the California Alliance of Researchers in Education (CARE-ED) and the National Association of Multicultural Education CA Chapter.
