Dr. Ruby Christine Mathew is a Lecturer and Lead of the MSc Human Resource Management Programme at York Business School, York St John University. She holds a Doctorate in Management from the University of York (2022) and is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (HEA). Her research focuses on gender equality frameworks in academia, organizational culture in higher education, and business sustainability strategies. She has conducted impactful studies on Athena Swan accreditation’s influence on gendered academic environments and contributed to regional net-zero carbon initiatives in North Yorkshire.
