Professor Roy Taylor, FREng, FRS, is Professor of Ultrafast Physics and Technology at Imperial College London's Department of Physics. He leads the Femtosecond Optics Group focusing on ultrashort pulse generation and applications in nonlinear processes, with commercial applications in optical fiber systems.
