Dr. Rowena Banerjea is a Research Associate in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Reading. Her work focuses on geoarchaeological investigations of medieval frontier landscapes in Europe, particularly in Iberia, and the development of heritage management strategies for medieval castles. She currently leads the research project within the Landscape, Climate and Lived Environment Research Cluster, collaborating with Dr. Aleks Pluskowski on the Landscapes of (Re)Conquest project.
