Rosemary Cooper is the Executive Director of Career Success and an Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Texas at Tyler. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development (specializing in organizational development and change), an M.P.A. in Public Administration, and a Bachelor of General Studies, all from UT Tyler. Her academic roles span the Soules College of Business and the College of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. Cooper’s research focuses on shared services in higher education, employee engagement, and organizational change. She has presented nationally on these topics and is a three-time UT Tyler alumna. Awards include the 2018 President’s Excellence Award and 2022 Teacher of the Year (Rotary Club of Tyler). She has served in leadership roles, including Director of Enrollment Services at UT Tyler and participation in Leadership Tyler and the UT System Women’s Leadership Program.
Her community involvement includes roles on the City of Tyler Mayor’s Veterans and Community Roundtable, Women’s Symphony League of Tyler, and Leadership Tyler’s Catalyst 100 Program. She relocated to Tyler, Texas from Nashville, Tennessee.
