Rosemary B. Duda, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and serves as Chief of Global Health and Director of Health and Education for All (HAEFA). Her career spans extensive global health work across Ghana, Haiti, Nicaragua, Yap (Micronesia), and Bangladesh since 2008.
As a surgical oncologist and epidemiologist, her research focuses on improving women’s health, public health systems, and disaster management, particularly in resource-limited settings. Notably, she contributed to health initiatives in earthquake-devastated Haiti.
