Rosalind Fallaize is an Associate Professor in Research and Programme Lead for the BSc (Hons) Dietetics at the University of Hertfordshire, where she teaches on both Dietetics and Nutrition programmes. She is a registered Dietitian with the HCPC and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Her research focuses on dietary assessment methods, app-based personalized nutrition interventions, nutritional genomics, and addressing health inequalities. She holds a PhD in Nutritional Science from the University of Reading and has led projects like the Food4Me study on gene-based personalized nutrition.
Education background includes a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Surrey (2007–2011) and a PhD from the University of Reading (2011–2015). She also serves as a part-time Research Fellow at the University of Reading.
Her research interests span dietary prevention of chronic diseases, autoimmune conditions (e.g., psoriasis), and innovative methods for dietary assessment in vulnerable populations. She currently supervises PhD students Bronwen Steele (sustainable diets) and Kiasia Wilson (diet and PCOS management).
