Ronald P.M.H. Lay

Dr. Ronald P.M.H. Lay is a Programme Leader for the MA Art Therapy programme at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore. He holds a Doctor of Education from The University of Western Australia, an MA in Art Therapy from Concordia University, and dual BAs in Fine Arts (University of Guelph) and Psychology (Wilfred Laurier University). His career bridges clinical practice and academia, with a focus on forensic art therapy and postgraduate training in Asia. He has received prestigious awards, including the Sustained Superior Accomplishment Award from the California State Legislature, and is a board-certified, internationally recognized art therapist.

Dr. Lay’s research emphasizes experiential learning in art therapy education and its application in Asian contexts. His work spans clinical supervision, professional development, and humanitarian projects, including community art collaborations in Southeast Asia and Africa.
