Ronald Brown

Ronald Brown is a Lecturer in the School of Chemistry and Molecular Bioscience at the University of Wollongong, specializing in organic synthesis and catalysis with applications in medicinal chemistry and agrochemicals.

His research bridges industry and academia through the development of novel synthetic methodologies for bioactive compounds. Current projects focus on silicon/boron-based herbicide design and pharmaceutical applications of heterocyclic scaffolds.

Brown received an ARC Early Career Industry Fellowship (2024-2027) for herbicide research and contributes to chemistry education innovation.
