Ron Kurniawan

Ron Kurniawan is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Entertainment Design department at ArtCenter College of Design. His work blends pop surrealism, juxtaposing diverse elements like animals, robots, and fantasy themes to create innovative visual narratives. He has extensive industry experience spanning over 15 years, with roles at studios such as Warner Bros., DreamWorks, Disney, and others.

Ron’s creative practice encompasses fine art, film production design, and illustration. He is currently developing a feature film slated for a 2022 release. His illustrations have been featured in prominent publications including The New Yorker, Los Angeles Magazine, and The New York Times.
