Dr. Roman Waldera is a Lecturer in the Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) program at South Dakota State University (SDSU), housed within the School of Health and Human Sciences. He teaches courses encompassing athletics coaching, exercise science, motor learning, adapted physical education, and professionalism/ethics in physical education. Additionally, he co-instructs students completing their physical education student teaching practicum.

He also held roles as a Substitute Teacher in Fargo Public Schools (2018-2022), Personal Trainer at Courts Plus Community Fitness (2020-2022), and Assistant Track and Field Coach (Throws) at Minot State University (2015-2018).
