Rod Parker is a Professor and Director of the School of Art at Louisiana State University (LSU). He holds a leadership role as Interim Dean of the College of Art & Design (2023–2025). His career spans academic and professional design practice, including founding the design firm DSI/LA (1981–1995) and establishing LSU's digital art program. Parker studied typography and bookbinding at the London College of Printing and worked in corporate identity design in the UK/Europe before joining LSU in 1981.
