Andrew Shurtz is an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design at Louisiana State University (LSU) within the College of Art & Design's Art/Graphic Design department. He holds a BFA from LSU and an MFA from Yale University. His research focuses on typography, language, and visual form boundaries, co-founding the design collective Verytime and co-editing Convolution, a journal exploring experimental typography's intersections with art and poetry.
