Rochelle Gutiérrez is a Professor of Curriculum and Instruction, Latina/Latino Studies, and affiliated with the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology at the University of Illinois. Her work focuses on rehumanizing mathematics education through intersectional and political lenses, emphasizing race, class, and language.
