Robyn Brown-Manning is a Doctoral Lecturer and Senior Associate Dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs at Silberman School of Social Work, Hunter College (CUNY). She holds a Ph.D. and M.S.W. from The Graduate Center of CUNY, with research expertise in African American families, child welfare systems, and multicultural social work practice.
Her scholarship focuses on:
- Emotional experiences of African American mothers
- Community-based healing traditions
- Anti-racist frameworks in social work practice
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on racial justice, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive interventions. Recent works examine assessment frameworks and historical healing practices.
