Robin Walter

Robin Walter is an Assistant Professor in the College of Liberal Arts at Colorado State University, where she also serves as Program Director of the Green & Gold Initiative. Her academic focus is Creative Writing (Poetry), with a notable publication Little Mercy (Graywolf Press, 2025), which won the 2024 Academy of American Poets First Book Award. She holds a BA from Colorado College and an MFA from Colorado State University.

Her poetry and essays have appeared in prominent literary journals such as American Poetry Review, Seneca Review, West Branch, and Wildness. Her creative work explores themes central to contemporary poetic expression, blending personal narrative with broader social and cultural critique.
