Robin May

Robin May is the Gresham Professor of Physic (2022–present), Chief Scientific Adviser at the Food Standards Agency (FSA), and Professor of Infectious Disease at the University of Birmingham. His career focuses on human infectious diseases, pathogens, and their interactions with host organisms.

• Education: Early training in Plant Sciences at the University of Oxford, followed by a PhD in mammalian cell biology from University College London and the University of Birmingham (2005).
