Robin Hill is a Professor of Art at the University of California, Davis, within the Department of Art and Art History. She teaches sculpture, drawing, and specialized courses on site-specific public art and the intersection of drawing with sculpture. Her artistic practice explores hybrid forms combining photography, sculpture, and drawing, often using cyanotype techniques to transform discarded materials.
Research interests include material transformation, the aesthetics of impermanence, and collaborative reinterpretation of objects. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at PS1/MOMA, Sculpture Center, and Project Row Houses.
