Robin Dietrich is a Visiting Researcher at the QUT Centre for Robotics since January 2024. He collaborates with Tobias Fischer and Adam Hines on probabilistic place representations in neuromorphic Visual Place Recognition (VPR) algorithms. Previously, he was a research assistant at the Chair of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Real-time Systems (Informatics department), focusing on neural mechanisms of localization in mammalian brains for neuromorphic SLAM development.
