Roberta DREON is a Full Professor of Aesthetics at the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage, Ca' Foscari University of Venice. She holds key roles including Rector's Delegate for Research in the Humanities and Director of the CLAVeS research center (Cognition, Language, Action and Sensibility). Her academic leadership extends to co-editing the European Journal of Pragmatism and American Philosophy and serving on editorial boards for journals like Aisthesis.
Her research focuses on pragmatism, aesthetics, and philosophical anthropology, exploring themes like embodied cognition, environmental aesthetics, and the interplay between language, habits, and emotion.
