Robert Morawski

Robert Morawski is a Polish pianist, chamber musician, and educator serving as Professor and Dean of the Instrumental Faculty at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. He leads the Department of Piano and String Chamber Music and has an extensive career spanning performance, education, and academic organization.

  • Karol Szymanowski High School in Warsaw (classes of Bronisława Kawalla and Maciej Paderewski)
  • Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music (classes of Bronisława Kawalla and Jerzy Marchwiński)
  • Studies with Erich Eicher, Lee Kum Sing, Naum Sztarkman, Joanna Świtlik, and Edward Wolanin

Performance & Teaching: Performed internationally since age 7, including Germany, Austria, China, USA, and Canada. Teaches piano chamber music and conducts master classes globally, notably at the Chopin-Górecki Music Festival for over a decade. Premiered works by composers like Lutosławski and Palester, with a repertoire spanning early music to contemporary pieces.

Academic Leadership: Organizes numerous academic conferences and served as director of the pianists' ensemble at the Stanisław Moniuszko Vocal Competition. Active in journalism and publishing.
