Robert I. Katz is a Part-Time Professor of Art at the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), where he has taught since 1981. His roles include instructing courses in sculpture, 3D design, and drawing. He is also an internationally recognized artist, with sculptures exhibited in museums and galleries across the U.S. and abroad. Notable projects include a commission for MIT's permanent collection (2018) and participation in the Jiangsu Art Academy exhibition in China. His work often employs welded steel and mixed media.
