Robert Gray

Robert Gray is a Professor in the Department of English at the University of New Brunswick (UNB). He is an award-winning writer and filmmaker, known for directing seven short films including My Husband’s Jump (2017), Choke Hold (2015), and zack & luc (2013). His feature film Entropic (2019) and the novel Entropic (2015) have garnered significant acclaim. He runs Frictive Pictures Inc. with filmmakers Jon Dewar and Matt Rogers.

Gray holds a PhD and has published two short story collections, two novels in serial form in Xtra West, and poetry in journals like The Malahat Review and ARC Poetry Magazine. His work explores themes of human experience through diverse mediums.

Awards include the Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award for Entropic (2015). He has secured development funding for his upcoming feature film projects, reflecting his ongoing contributions to creative arts.
