Dr. Robert Emery is a Professor in the Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) School of Public Health. He also serves as Vice President for Safety, Health, Environment & Risk Management at UTHealth Houston. With over 37 years of experience in health and safety, he holds master’s degrees in health physics and environmental sciences, and a doctorate in occupational health. Dr. Emery is uniquely certified in seven national board areas, including health physics, occupational safety, biological safety, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials management, security management, and risk management.
