Robb Moss is a Harvard College Professor and Chair of the Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies (AFVS) at Harvard University. His work bridges documentary filmmaking with sociopolitical and scientific inquiry, focusing on themes like nuclear policy, government transparency, and long-term societal challenges. He has served on prestigious film festival juries, advised at Sundance Institute’s Doc Edit Labs, and contributed to institutional governance via ITVS board roles.
His research interests emphasize cross-disciplinary collaborations, as seen in films like Containment (co-directed with Peter Galison) examining nuclear waste disposal, and Secrecy exploring government transparency issues.
