Dr. Rita Hagevik is a Professor of Biology and Director of Graduate Programs in Science Education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She holds a PhD in Science Education and Forestry from North Carolina State University, with certifications in K-12 teaching, Geographic Information Systems, gifted education, and environmental education.
