Rick White

Rick White is an Instructor in Industrial Technology at Arkansas State University (A-State), affiliated with the College of Engineering and Computer Science. He holds an M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri at Rolla and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas State University.

His teaching focuses on Statistics, Quality Assurance methods, and Modeling and optimization. Research interests include Design of Experiments, Simulation, and Taguchi quality improvement concepts. He maintains dual professional roles: as a senior engineer at Jonesboro City Water & Light (16 years in electrical infrastructure) and previously at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing (6 years in combat aircraft systems).

White is a Registered Professional Engineer in Arkansas and a licensed public water system operator. His advisory experience includes serving on the university’s engineering advisory committee for three years.
