Rick White was a respected researcher and leader in applied statistics and data science at the University of British Columbia's Department of Statistics, part of the Faculty of Science. He earned his BSc in Mathematics (1990) and MSc in Statistics (1992) from UBC. As Managing Director of the Applied Statistics and Data Science Group (ASDa), he pioneered statistical consulting and training for researchers across disciplines.
