Richard Peregoy

Richard Peregoy, D.P.S., is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Dallas's College of Liberal Arts. As a first-generation college graduate, he financed his education through work while living at home. He holds an undergraduate degree, an MBA, and a Doctor of Philosophy (D.P.S.) earned in 1978. Prior to academia, he worked in industrial engineering, corporate employee relations for a multinational firm, and as a private consultant.

His teaching philosophy emphasizes theoretical foundations and practical application, aiming to empower students to realize their potential and make impactful contributions. He values student feedback on real-world applications of classroom concepts. Research interests focus on Management Spirituality and Religion's practical implications for leadership and organizational practices.

Outside academia, he advocates for international study and work, with a focus on Brazil, and maintains a meditation practice for personal growth.
