Richard Karcher is a Professor in the Department of Health Promotion and Human Performance at Eastern Michigan University, appointed Faculty Athletics Representative in February 2022. A former professional baseball player with three seasons in the Atlanta Braves farm system, he transitioned to corporate law practice at Honigman LLP in Detroit before entering academia.
