Richard Drushel is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biology at Case Western Reserve University (CWRU). With a career spanning over three decades at CWRU, he brings a unique perspective to education, having interacted with students as an undergraduate, medical student, Ph.D. candidate, post-doctoral researcher, teacher, advisor, and administrator. Dr. Drushel is a broad generalist, teaching courses such as BIOL 223 (Vertebrate Biology), BIOL 346 (Human Anatomy), and BIOL 340 (Human Physiology) in both traditional and pilot distance-learning formats. He has developed key academic advising tools for Biology majors and served as faculty advisor to Theta Chi fraternity and the CWRU Film Society for over a decade each.
