Professor Richard Billingham is an acclaimed artist, photographer, and filmmaker at the University of Gloucestershire since 2006. His work focuses on landscape, documentary storytelling, and marginalized communities, blending personal history with broader societal themes. He is best known for his 1990s photobook Ray’s a Laugh (revised 2024) and the BAFTA-nominated film Ray & Liz (2019).
